What is Haber Global?
Haber Global is the news channel of the Global Media Group. It started broadcasting on September 24, 2018.
HABER GLOBAL aimed to be Turkey's best news channel and the free voice of Turkey, with its human driven, social journalism approach, shows solutions rather than problems.
What is problem?
When the Haber Global opened in 2018, it did not have a site. They needed a website and a content management system.
What is solution?
First, we made a list of needs. Our primary needs were the home page, category page, news detail page, gallery page, breaking news page, and various corporate pages.
Then We designed the database to normalization rules in line with these needs. We chose mysql for database. After the basic skeleton was created, we choose Laravel for content management system. The reason we chose Laravel was that it had good documentation and tools that would enable us to produce quick solutions like eloquent. In addition, it was an advantage for us that it has a template engine like blade and creates fast pages created on the server side for the frontend.
